Smoke Rings In The Dark (2024): D/115
This is my cover of Gary Allan's - Smoke Rings In The Dark. I have loved this song since it came out in the early 90's. The original song has a pedal steel guitar so I substituted that part with my slide guitar (I love playing slide anyway). I couldn't sing the high parts on this so decided to use his vocals and harmonies...besides...he has a great voice.
Vocals - Gary Allan and his band split using Lalal.ai
Drums - All done by me using the pads on my Midi Keyboard. Track 1 is the Kick. Track 2 is the snare. Track 3 is the High Hat. Track 4 is the cymbals.
Bass - My Vantage bass guitar
Acoustic - My Seagull Artist guitar duplicated to two tracks. One track panned 60% left and the other 60% right
Electric - My Fender Strat for licks and chords. Panned 100% right
Slide guitar - My Hondo Strat copy panned 100% left.
Violin - I created this track using my Midi keyboard and a Violin plugin then duplicated it to two tracks. One is panned 32% left and the other 32% right to give the violin part some width.
