Kansas City (2026): E/136
This is a recording of our Bordertown band's version of Kansas City. The original song was recorded in a garage during one of our practice sessions. It was recorded in one live take in mono with some mistakes in our playing. I couldn't split out the tracks as mono doesn't have separate tracks. Instead I removed the vocals and cleaned up the music as best I could. Then my friend and former bandmate...Lauchie...came over and laid down a new vocal. We restored a few of our older songs this way as a tribute to our friend and Lead Guitarist...Len (RIP).
Vocals - Lauchie on the main vocal
Drums - Our Alesis 16 drum machine programmed by Len. We used a drum machine for practice when our drummer couldn't attend as he lived 1 1/2 hours from us.
