Dear Mr Fantasy (2026): D/78
This is my cover of Dear Mr Fantasy by Big Sugar. This song was originally done by Traffic but I liked the heavier sound of the Big Sugar recording. One of the interesting things Big Sugar did with their recording was to pan the main vocal to the left and the harmony vocal to the right. Traditionally the main vocal is panned to the centre with background vocals recorded quieter...thus the name "background vocals". I liked their concept so I recorded mine the same way. I will use this idea on other recordings sometime.
