Copperhead Road (2023): Dm/78
Alternate

My cover of Steve Earle - Copperhead Road. I called a friend for this song. Lauchie was the singer in the band I was in a few years ago. When I cover a song I like to do research to see how many instruments and what effects were used. This song had multiple tracks on the original. The sound of the bagpipes in the opening was actually done in the studio with a synthesizer. I used my midi keyboard with some distortion affects and also an Ebow to get more droning sounds in my version.

Vocal - Lauchie
Drums - I found a backing track online for the drums and used it.
Bass - My Vantage bass guitar
Organ - Used my Midi keyboard and a plugin to emulate the Synth used in the original recording
Mandolin - My Fender Stratocaster with a capo on the 12th fret through my Spark 40 amp
Acoustic Guitar - My Seagull Artist guitar through my Spark 40 amp
Electric guitar harmony - My Fender Stratocaster through my Spark 40 amp with distortion
Electric guitar Lead - My Fender Stratocaster through my Spark 40 amp
Slide guitar - My Hondo Strat copy through my Spark 40 amp
Ebow guitar - My Hondo Strat copy with my Joyo Ebow device through my Spark 40 amp
