Black Water (2026): D/84
Alternate
This is my cover of Black Water by The Doobie Brothers. I've always loved this song...especially the acoustic guitar parts. I bought a multitrack studio recording and used their background vocals, drums, percussion, violin and harp tracks. I also used the studio acoustic guitar licks around the 3:30 mark. I might have been able to replicate the violin on my Midi keyboard but I couldn't get the intricacies of a real violin. I do this hobby for fun and am not concerned if I use other's tracks to fill in my covers. I also recorded two tracks of my hand claps through a microphone. I had fun modifying the volumes around the 3 minute mark. I gradually dropped the volume of all the tracks except the hand claps and vocals then brought them back up around the 3:25 mark.
